The Miracle Masque is a morality play with music, set in mediaeval Italy, and follows in the tradition of Morality plays stretching back to the Middle Ages when they were a much need mixture of satire, drama, comedy and tragedy. In both the words and music the aim has been to balance with robust humour, the more serious questions which trouble mankind. The play is not confined to one season or festival and is suitable to be performed throughout the year and can easily be adapted to fit and suit the number of performers and the abilities of those involved.
